What we hold, and why
Luxiva Society handles personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000. This is what that means in practice.
What information we ask for
We collect a name, a delivery address, a phone number and an email address. Accounts also retain order history and saved addresses.
Nothing about your bank reaches us. UPI is approved on your side, and no payment credential is stored here.
What it is used for
The data is there to:
- process and pack your order
- arrange delivery and share tracking updates
- answer support messages about an order
- meet record-keeping obligations under Indian law
- detect and prevent fraudulent orders
Who we pass it to
Couriers receive your name, address and phone number. Without those there is no delivery. Your bank’s UPI system handles payment. Personal data is never sold, and never shared with advertisers or brokers.
Information may be disclosed if the law, a court or a regulator demands it.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies for the cart and session only. You may block them, at the cost of a working cart. No ad trackers run here.
Your control
Under the DPDP Act, 2023 you may:
- ask what personal data we hold about you
- ask us to correct anything inaccurate
- ask us to erase data we no longer need for an order or a legal obligation
- withdraw consent for messages that are not about an order
How long records last
Indian tax and consumer law set how long order records are held, after which they go. Accounts persist until you ask us to delete them, and support mail is kept briefly beyond a closed query.
Children
Nobody under 18 should be ordering here. We collect no data from children knowingly, and delete anything we discover.
Complaints and grievances
The Customer Care Team acts as grievance contact for Luxiva Society on all data matters.
